Dennis Lorenzo, now performing as RENZO, is a Philadelphia-born artist whose music defies genre boundaries, blending alternative rock, soul, and modern R&B. He first gained national attention as a Top 10 finalist on Season 16 of American Idol, where his emotive performances and distinctive falsetto captivated audiences. In 2025, RENZO returned to the national stage on Season 27 of The Voice, delivering a soulful rendition of "Simple Man" that earned him a spot on Team Legend. His journey from a challenging upbringing—losing his father to gun violence at age 4—to becoming a celebrated artist underscores his resilience and dedication to his craft. Beyond television, RENZO has been prolific in his musical endeavors, releasing six singles in 2024 and following up with a five-track EP titled Renzo Vol. I: Another Part of Me. In March 2025, he unveiled an 11-song album, Renzo Vol. II: Get My Family Out, showcasing his evolution as an artist committed to authenticity and experimentation. Balancing his music career with his role as a science teacher and father of three, RENZO continues to inspire with his multifaceted life and unwavering passion for music.
